Bitcoin airdrop?

Are you waiting for a Bitcoin airdrop? Perhaps you are thinking you’ll hit the jackpot and get selected as a winner? Are you retweeting and/or following a few influencers’ social media channels in hopes of a lucky score? Sorry to burst your bubble, but there will be no Bitcoin airdrop. Not today, not tomorrow. That’s not how Bitcoin works. There are tokens that have been created that will airdrop you a miniscule portion to pump up the price but that’s the only reason anyone gives their token away. They’ll get you to retweet their posts, and join their paid groups that do nothing but pump their bags, not yours. Then comes the rug pull. Many of them make promises their token is going to the moon. Technically, they are shilling unregistered securities. They all go to zero. With more than 20,000 of them on the market, there are likely just as many social media accounts that have been created to promote each one. Then there are the potential financial consequences of promoting or even holding those tokens if/when they are declared to be unregistered securities.

There will be no airdrop of gold either, people don’t randomly give away that kind of wealth. The same thing applies to Bitcoin.

There will be no Bitcoin airdrop. Sorry, not sorry.
